Andrew’s professional life has encompassed both the public and private education sectors and he is committed to ensuring that private education and training providers remain a strong and valued part of the Australian education community.
As the national industry association for private providers of post-compulsory education and training, ACPET has over 1000 members across Australia, of whom more than half operate in the international market. ACPET operates in all Australian states and territories, with permanent offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth.
Having started his career in the classroom, Andrew made the move operational management and has developed a strong track record of expertise and strategic leadership throughout the education, training and not for profit sector.
In his current role with ACPET, Andrew is committed to ensuring that private education and training providers continue to lead and influence the development of policy across the education and training portfolio as they respond to the significant challenges presented by a skills shortage in many occupations and an increasingly competitive global education market.
Andrew is degree qualified in applied science and business and holds post graduate qualifications in education.
