NQC Secretariat
In fulfilling its role to support the work of the National Quality Council, the NQC Secretariat is responsible for preparing and managing strategic and business plans as well as operational and program budgets. It undertakes research, analysis and prepares advice and briefings for the NQC Chair/Deputy Chair, in relation to policy approaches or proposals. It also coordinates communication and stakeholder engagement strategies and provides advice to the CEO and Board of TVET Australia on the work of the NQC. The Secretariat is also responsible for the preparation of meeting agendas, papers, reports and correspondence in relation to a range of complex and technical issues.
In conducting the business of the Workplan, the Secretariat prepares project briefs and oversees the commissioning of project work including selection and management of contractors through to the achievement of successful outcomes. It is also responsible for Chairing of working groups and representation of the NQC on various external groups.
The NQC Secretariat comprises two full-time and two part-time staff members.
